AI Engineer

Position: AI Engineer

Location: Remote (EST/CST)

Duration: 5 Months+

We re looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer / AI Integration Engineer to build highperformance APIs, develop scalable cloudnative services on Microsoft Azure, and integrate emerging AI capabilities across the enterprise. You will work across backend engineering, distributed systems, Azure cloud services, LLMpowered automation, and lowcode solution design.

What You ll Do

• Build scalable, highperformance backend APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar).
• Design and operate distributed backend systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Deploy and manage cloudnative applications using Azure Functions, AKS, App Services, and API Management.
• Implement enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure OpenAI.
• Design intelligent, automated workflows that integrate with Microsoft Fabric, Graph APIs, and enterprise data sources.
• Contribute to low code prompting and solution design using Power Platform or other lowcode tools.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to design secure, scalable, governed solutions.

Nice to Have

• SQL + relational database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
• GitHub expertise for CI/CD, branching, and workflow automation.
• Docker/Podman experience building and securing containerized microservices.
