ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Specialist to provide technical and architecture design support for an enterprise SAP ecosystem. Supported environments include: ECC, CRM, BW, BOBJ, PO, Web Dispatcher, Fiori, S/4HANA (cloud & on-premises), Cloud ALM, Joule, SAP BTP, SAP CPI/CI/IS, SAP CIS, SAP DP Agent, SAP Cloud Connector, SuccessFactors, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP SAC, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Signavio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead primary SAP BASIS administration for major enterprise applications
• Provide 24/7 on-call and after-hours support (nights & weekends as required)
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain SAP systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as primary point of contact
• Perform OS, application, database, and client tool patching and migrations
• Test patches in non-production environments before deployment
• Perform system sizing and capacity planning
• Manage application security and user administration
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and inventories
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
• Automate tasks and streamline administrative processes
• Coordinate with security, network, operations, and application development teams

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years as SAP BASIS Administrator supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks
• Experience supporting at least 2 major SAP Cloud go-live implementations and/or upgrade projects
• S/4HANA migration experience using Selective Data Transition (SDT)
• SAP RISE / SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) deployed in Azure
• Hands-on experience with: ECC6, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, Solution Manager
• 1+ year supporting: BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Cloud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, Cloud Identity Services
• Experience with OS platforms: UNIX, Linux, Windows, AIX


DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Current SAP Certifications related to the scope of work
• Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Deep knowledge of SAP Cloud offerings, Hyperscaling, and Hyperscalers
• Proficiency in SAP system refresh processes (LAMA, SAP PCA Add-on)
• NetWeaver Java Stack administration (Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, SLD)
• SAP change management experience (CTS+, non-ABAP and cloud solutions)
• SAP system administration in DB2/AIX and RHEL environments
