SAP EWM Consultant / Lead – Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences

Job Location: Indianapolis, IN – Onsite / Hybrid

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Possible extension

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant / Lead with strong hands-on SAP EWM experience and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, manufacturing, distribution, or highly regulated warehouse environments. This position requires more than technical implementation skills—the consultant must be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and customers to conduct workshops, gather and analyze requirements, understand business challenges, recommend appropriate SAP solutions, and configure EWM accordingly.

The consultant will play a key role in supporting the development of an SAP EWM Center of Excellence, with Indianapolis serving as a preferred location for collaboration and project activities. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in Indianapolis and traveling when required, including potential international travel for global deployments.

Required Qualifications

·         5–6+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience.

·         Strong SAP EWM experience is mandatory; candidates with only traditional SAP WM experience will not be considered.

·         Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration and implementation.

·         Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse management and logistics processes.

·         Experience conducting workshops and gathering requirements directly from business users and customers.

·         Ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP EWM solutions.

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Ability to work independently and take ownership of functional issues and deliverables.

·         Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

·         Experience working collaboratively with functional, technical, warehouse operations, and business teams.
