The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise in patch deployment, configuration corrections, and vulnerability mitigation across all managed environments, including Microsoft technologies, Azure, and SCCM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 24/7 technical support for Severity A, B, and C incidents across all MCCS-managed systems, including Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and on-premises environments.
  • Conduct scheduled assessments, system health checks, and vulnerability reviews across all MCCS systems, identifying required patches, validating missing updates, assessing configuration drift, and performing all remediation activities necessary to maintain security, stability, and compliance.
  • Execute patch installations, configuration changes, registry modifications, and system updates across all managed systems, applications, and endpoints.
  • Remediate findings from ACAS, Nessus, and other DoD vulnerability scanners, completing all steps necessary to satisfy IAVs, STIGs, and RMF-driven remediations.
  • Validate and document successful remediation completion, providing full remediation support for Windows applications, POS systems, lodging/hospitality applications, and recreational systems.
  • Utilize SCCM, PowerShell automation, and Recast Right Click Tools to execute remediation actions, enforce compliance baselines, and perform administrative corrections.
  • Manage software inventories, compliance baselines, remediation reports, and enterprise-wide patch deployment activities.
  • Provide technical training and education to MCCS IT personnel on patching workflows, PowerShell automation, SCCM usage, endpoint compliance, and vulnerability remediation tooling.
  • Ensure all remediation actions comply with DoD cybersecurity standards, including RMF, IAV directives, STIG requirements, and NIST SP 800 53 controls.
  • Deliver complete vulnerability remediation packages, monthly patch deployment reports, vulnerability compliance reports, software deployment activity reports, configuration remediation reports, and technical training sessions as required.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation, with a focus on Microsoft technologies, Azure, and SCCM.
  • Proven expertise in patch deployment, configuration corrections, and vulnerability mitigation across all managed environments.
  • Advanced technical expertise in PowerShell automation, SCCM administration, and Recast Right Click Tools.
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity standards, including RMF, IAV directives, STIG requirements, and NIST SP 800 53 controls.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in a DoD or government environment.
  • Certification in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH.
  • Experience with enterprise endpoint management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
