Title: Project Manager III (Cloud Data Services)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager will support the Big Data department in implementing AWS and other related cloud applications. They must effectively coordinate with the other parallel efforts as we build a cloud-based data ecosystem.
Required Skills and Experience:
Cloud Technology
- Demonstrable experience in leading project(s) that migrate on-premise data-oriented workloads to a net new cloud data fabric environment
- Familiarity with AWS and moving large companies to the cloud.
- Understanding AWS cloud data, DevOps, FinOps and MLOps
Data and Analytics- Knowledge of managed databases, SaaS data tools (i.e., Snowflake), custom applications and vendor applications
- Experience with data replication, streaming, and analytics pipelines
- Familiarity with time-series data and both structured and unstructured data formats
- Understanding of the Self-Service analytics model
Project Execution & Agile Methodologies- Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
- Experience managing cloud migration and implementation roadmaps
- Ability to align cloud capabilities with operational, compliance, and financial goals
- Awareness of cloud security protocols and risk mitigation strategies
- Preferred Certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, AWS Certificates
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing multiple, complex projects.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading project teams using both internal and external resources.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.
Top Daily Priorities:- Coordinating multiple IT groups (with shared resources) and vendors to ensure decisions are being reached and issues resolved.
- Creating and managing the schedule, project lists (action items, issues, key decisions, etc.),
- Complete first level budget review
