Lab Systems EngineerWhy This is an Exciting Role:BI&A is seeking a Lab System Engineer who designs, develops, evaluates, and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their entire life cycle using a holistic engineering approach. Ensures system requirements comply with client specifications and government standards while coordinating cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience: - 6 Years of experience in Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications: - TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies
- Experience with requirements management and verification processes
- Knowledge of government standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools and documentation practices
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work
Desired Qualifications: - Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer, Oracle Solaris Administrator, IBM AIX Administrator)
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
- Experience with configuration management tools
