responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable technical specifications.
- Lead the design and successful implementation of secure, performant, and HIPAA-compliant software solutions.
- Balance your daily workload across new development (25%), system maintenance (25%), enhancements (25%), and cloud hosting (25%).
- Champion modern engineering practices, including automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure as code.
- Mentor fellow developers, lead code reviews, and contribute meaningfully to team-level architecture discussions.
- Participate in estimation practices, story pointing, and backlog refinement to ensure predictable delivery.
qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience combined with 4+ years of professional application development.
- Demonstrated career progression with a total of 5 to 12 years of hands-on technical experience.
- Strong foundation in Java-based web technologies, specifically Spring.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Hands-on experience with modern version control systems, such as Git.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
