Role Overview
The HCM / FIN / SCM Lead serves as the senior functional authority for PeopleSoft applications, providing expert oversight, Tier-3 escalation support, and solution guidance across Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials (FIN), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
This role partners closely with functional analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution quality, system stability, compliance, and continuous improvement within a public-sector ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership & Support
Serve as the Tier-3 functional escalation point for complex PeopleSoft HCM, FIN, and SCM issues.
Provide expert guidance and oversight to functional analysts, ensuring high-quality solutions and adherence to best practices.
Review and validate functional designs, configurations, and system changes.
Enhancements, Compliance & Governance
Support system enhancements, audits, and compliance initiatives in alignment with public-sector requirements.
Ensure PeopleSoft configurations comply with internal controls, policies, and regulatory standards.
Assist with documentation, controls validation, and audit responses as required.
System Maintenance & Upgrades
Participate in PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) planning, testing, and deployment activities.
Support project-based initiatives, including upgrades, enhancements, and cross-module integrations.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure stable deployments.
Advisory & Continuous Improvement
Advise stakeholders on PeopleSoft best practices, system capabilities, and process improvements.
Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and improve system efficiency.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership on ERP-related decisions.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of PeopleSoft functional experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
Deep functional expertise in PeopleSoft Financials (FIN) and/or Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
Proven experience providing Tier-3 functional support and issue resolution.
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft configuration, business processes, and cross-module impacts.
Experience guiding and mentoring functional analysts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting public-sector or government ERP environments.
Exposure to PeopleSoft HCM modules.
Experience with audits, compliance initiatives, and internal controls.
Familiarity with large-scale ERP upgrades or modernization efforts.
