Plan View Technical Consultant - Configuraion and Development - 67147

Pay Rate: $50 - $53/hr

We have an immediate opportunity for a Plan View Technical Consultant - Configuraion and Development to support a critical engagement based in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6-month contract role, and requires 4-5 days per month, onsite presence from day one (remote work is not permitted). The consultant will serve as a Planview Portfolio Solution Architect, leading and supporting greenfield and existing implementations of Planview Portfolios within a complex enterprise environment. Visa-independent candidates only will be considered for this position.

In this role, the consultant will be responsible for end-to-end solution architecture across Planview Enterprise One and related PPM tools, including configuration, integration, and optimization. The work will involve integrating Planview with Jira and other third-party systems, leveraging SOAP web services for automation and bulk data operations, and supporting RPA initiatives using tools such as UiPath or Power Automate. The consultant will also play a key role in Agile and OKR enablement, including setup and configuration of AgilePlace within Planview, while ensuring alignment with enterprise delivery and governance models.

To be successful in this position, one needs to bring strong data and reporting expertise, including advanced SQL skills, experience with Microsoft Report Builder and Power BI, and a solid understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. The role requires hands-on experience designing and optimizing database structures, resolving data quality issues, and producing comprehensive documentation covering data models, reporting frameworks, and data management processes. A minimum of 8 years of overall experience is required, along with mandatory prior Planview implementation experience, strong process documentation and change management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently across multiple time zones. Experience in the financial services sector is considered a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) is required.
