Job Summary (Senior QNX Android Developer):
- Develop and maintain software for QNX, Linux, and Android platforms, focusing on embedded systems.
- Design and implement platform services, middleware, and embedded applications using C/C++.
- Develop, integrate, and debug Linux device drivers and hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO).
- Work on Qualcomm Snapdragon-based platforms (especially 8295), including bring-up, integration, and platform optimization.
- Develop Android native and framework-level components, with expertise in Android Automotive systems.
- Support multimedia application and platform development.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution across software and hardware layers.
- Collaborate with DevOps, automation, and validation teams to facilitate CI/CD integration.
- Utilize Docker and virtualized environments for software development and testing.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and release activities.
- Support adoption and integration of AI-assisted software development practices.
- Apply knowledge of bootloader, secure boot, power management, and virtualization technologies.
- Utilize tools such as GDB, QNX Momentics, ADB, Logcat, Git, and GitLab for development and troubleshooting.
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments, using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Preferred experience in test automation, CTS/VTS, Python scripting, and domains like automotive, airline, transportation, or infotainment.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
