Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Additional job details and special considerations
These contractor roles are for Senior Java Developers, and the positions will work on the BAU EI parallel initiative. These roles will be responsible for making updates to the Java. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 03/30/2026 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1200 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
