DESCRIPTION Sinch is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to lead and grow our external communications across North America - our most strategic market and a key driver of our global story.
As part of our Global Corporate Communications team, reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications in Stockholm, you'll own U.S. PR and media relations while partnering closely with regional leadership. You'll play a central role in shaping how Sinch shows up in the U.S. tech and B2B space - turning complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that build trust and visibility.
We're looking for a communicator who understands the U.S. media landscape, brings strong strategic instincts, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to make things happen. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the North America PR and communications strategy aligned to global priorities
- Own U.S. media relations, including proactive pitching, press engagement, and long-term journalist relationships
- Manage external PR agencies to drive high-impact, high-quality coverage
- Advise regional leaders on positioning, messaging, and media opportunities
- Develop and localize press materials, thought leadership, executive messaging, and digital content
- Prepare and support company spokespeople through media briefings and coaching
- Track and report on media performance and communications impact
- Partner closely with global Marketing and Communications teams to ensure message consistency while advocating for U.S. market needs
- Support select internal communications initiatives for U.S.-based teams
REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 6-8+ years of experience in PR and communications, ideally within B2B tech, SaaS, or digital services
- Proven success securing earned media coverage in the U.S. market
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills in English
- Experience managing external partners such as PR agencies
- Comfortable working in a global organization and collaborating across time zones
- Strong judgment, stakeholder management skills, and ability to operate with autonomy

Salary: The annual starting salary for this position is between $123,200 - $154,000 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
