Role: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: USA DC Washington - Hybrid
Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Secret
Job Qualifications
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers in the Azure Government cloud
Design, implement, and manage Azure networking components including virtual networks,
subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN/ExpressRoute, load balancers, and routing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, or equivalent experience
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred
Experience:
• 3+ years of related experience required
10+ years of related experience preferred, with at least 5+ years of preferred experience in database and data management
Required Skills:
• Senior Level system administrator skills required in Linux/Windows environments
• Experience using Azure Active Directory and Azure Monitor
Strong Azure networking skills: VNets, NSGs, routing, Azure Firewall, load balancing, ExpressRoute/VPN
•Proficiency with IaC and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
•Understanding of CI/CD concepts and secure pipeline development in controlled cloud environments
• Advanced knowledge using Ansible or PowerShell scripts
Preferred Certification(s):
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
• Microsoft Certified: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (AZ-305)
• Other work-dependent certifications a plus
