Versa SD-WAN Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Versa SD-WAN Deployment Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize secure SD-WAN solutions across our global infrastructure. This role is critical in supporting high-performance networking environments that power cutting-edge AI, data center, and enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment & Implementation

  • Deploy and configure Versa SD-WAN solutions (Director, Analytics, Controllers, Edge devices)
  • Execute full lifecycle implementations: staging, provisioning, configuration, testing, and cutover
  • Perform zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) for branch deployments
  • Migrate legacy WAN/MPLS environments to SD-WAN architecture

• Network Engineering

  • Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) within SD-WAN fabric
  • Implement segmentation, multi-tenancy, and policy-based routing
  • Integrate SD-WAN with existing enterprise network infrastructure
  • Support hybrid architectures across on-prem, cloud (AWS/Azure), and data center environments
  • Cisco (WAN, DMVPN, BGP, EIGRP, Switching)
  • Arista (BGP, Switching)

• Security & Optimization

  • Configure firewall policies, NAT, IPSec tunnels, and secure segmentation
  • Optimize application performance using traffic steering and QoS policies
  • Monitor network health and performance via Versa Analytics
  • Palo Alto Firewalls (routing, BGP, troubleshooting)

• Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Conduct validation testing and ensure successful deployment
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and performance issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Experience working with ISPs, troubleshooting, validating performance
  • Experience with Ansible, troubleshooting playbooks

• Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with network architects, project managers, and client stakeholders
  • Provide deployment documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer
  • Support ongoing operations and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of network engineering experience with hands-on deployment work
• Direct experience with Versa SD-WAN (VOS, Director, Analytics)
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • WAN technologies (MPLS, broadband, LTE)
  • VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE)
• Experience deploying SD-WAN in enterprise environments
• Solid troubleshooting and network diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with Linux CLI
