Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this long-term contract role, you will lead complex projects, ensuring they are executed successfully while maintaining alignment with business goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and promote adherence to Agile principles across project teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Utilize Atlassian Jira to track project progress, manage workflows, and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and project management best practices.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Coordinate resources and allocate tasks efficiently to optimize team performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and team collaboration.
Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level team members in project management practices.
Ensure successful completion of projects by monitoring performance metrics and addressing any deviations.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or related roles.
Proven expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
Strong proficiency with Atlassian Jira for project tracking and reporting.
Solid understanding of project management principles and best practices.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams.
Ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Experience working in cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
