Job Title: Telecom Consultant - Telcordia OSS/BSS Systems

Location: Remote

Role: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking 1 3 expert-level resources with deep hands-on experience in Telcordia OSS/BSS systems. The ideal candidates will possess strong technical expertise across legacy telecom operational systems, data structures, and integration flows.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert-level support and guidance on the architecture, functionality, and administration of the Telcordia OSS suite, including but not limited to:
TIRKS, LFACS, SWITCH, WFA/C, SOAC, NSDB, NMA, and related components.
Analyze and document system interfaces, input/output operations, inter-system transaction flows, and data exchange mechanisms.
Review and optimize database structures, administrative tools, and associated operational processes.
Support troubleshooting, system enhancements, and integration activities across multiple OSS/BSS platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, data accuracy, and system performance.

Required Skills & Experience

Deep hands-on experience with Telcordia/ Ericsson OSS systems, including architecture, configuration, and operations.
Strong technical background in:

COBOL
JCL (Job Control Language)
DB2
VSAM

Demonstrated experience working with complex legacy telecom environments, interfaces, and high-volume transaction systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
