Job Details

We are seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Estate Planning Attorney (Associate or Partner) with strong experience in trusts and estates work for high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning strategies
Draft and review wills, trusts, and comprehensive estate planning documents
Handle complex estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters
Support business succession planning and multi-generational wealth transfer strategies
Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professional advisors
For partner-level candidates: assist in practice development and client relationship expansion

Qualifications:
4+ years of estate planning experience, preferably with high-net-worth clients
Strong tax background preferred; LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required
Excellent drafting, analytical, and client counseling skills
Portable book of business preferred for partner-level candidates, but not required
JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation based on experience and level
Associate compensation is lockstep based: approximately $175K starting, up to ~$225K by senior associate level
Bonus structure includes:
~15% origination credit
Productivity bonus for hours billed above 1,800
Additional profit-sharing opportunities
Full benefits package
Hybrid flexibility (up to 4 remote days per week, depending on role and team needs)
