Hybrid 2-3 trips total to lead workshops in New York, NY

Our client seeks a highly experienced SEC Reporting professional to lead a resegmentation project targeted for completion between late November and mid-December. The consultant must combine strong SEC and U.S. GAAP technical expertise with project management capability and the ability to engage executive leadership. The work will be primarily remote with occasional travel to New York City to facilitate workshops and leadership discussions.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $80.00 to $125.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Assess management's objectives and current reporting structure.
  • Build and manage the overall resegmentation roadmap.
  • Coordinate executive stakeholders and key workstreams.
  • Provide weekly project status updates.
  • Prepare the accounting position memo and related SEC reporting considerations.
  • Guide management through historical recasting, disclosure updates, internal controls, and investor communication considerations.

Experience Requirements:
  • Extensive SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP technical expertise.
  • Proven project management experience leading complex reporting initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive leadership.
  • Availability for 2-3 trips to New York City over the next two months.
  • Prior experience with resegmentation, recasting, and disclosure updates.
