Field Generator Mechanic

On-site Field Role – Midland/Odessa, TX (Local Travel Required)

What you get to do:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on large 4-stroke natural gas generators

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, ignition, cooling, fuel system, and alternator issues

• Support new equipment deployments and commissioning

• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance logs

• Work independently across a regional service area (West Texas & Eastern New Mexico)

• Travel periodically to support out-of-state field operations

• Follow all high-voltage and natural gas safety procedures

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of experience as a generator or engine mechanic

• Strong background with large-bore natural gas engines (Waukesha/CAT experience preferred)

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial equipment independently

• Comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

• Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Midland/Odessa area

• U.S.-based candidates only; must be fluent in English for safety-critical environments
