Allegro Consultant (ETRM/CTRM)

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Allegro SME with deep expertise in Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM) and strong knowledge of the Natural Gas trading lifecycle.
• The consultant will serve as a functional subject matter expert across trading, scheduling, risk, settlements, accounting, and IT functions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary Allegro SME, providing functional and strategic guidance across the platform.
• Partner with Trading, Risk, Scheduling, Settlements, Accounting, and IT teams to improve business processes and system capabilities.
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business requirements into Allegro solutions.
• Support the full Natural Gas trading lifecycle, including trade capture, contract management, pricing, curves, scheduling, nominations, confirmations, allocations, imbalances, settlements, and invoicing.
• Support Allegro implementations, upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead functional design reviews and collaborate with technical teams on solution delivery and integrations.
• Define and validate requirements for integrations with ERP systems, market data providers, exchanges, reporting platforms, and downstream applications.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user stories, test strategies, and other functional documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, production deployment, and production support.
• Perform issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution guidance.
• Drive governance, reconciliation, controls, and data quality initiatives across the ETRM platform.
• Mentor business and technical teams on Allegro functionality and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM/CTRM) experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Allegro experience in a functional, solution, or SME capacity.
• Strong understanding of Natural Gas trading operations and business processes.
• Experience supporting front-, middle-, and back-office commodity trading functions.
• Strong experience with Settlements & Invoicing.
• Expertise in trade capture, pricing & valuation, curves & market data, scheduling & logistics, settlements, and risk/exposure reporting.
• Experience with Allegro implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of system integrations and downstream business processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting multiple commodities such as Natural Gas, Power, Crude, Refined Products, or NGLs.
• Knowledge of commodity trading accounting and settlement workflows.
• Experience integrating Allegro with SAP or other ERP platforms.
• Experience as an ETRM platform owner, solution lead, or functional lead.
• Experience with cloud-based or modernized Allegro environments.
• Ability to support Singapore business hours when required.
