Summary

Description
This role is in the Operations Infrastructure Services organization that is responsible for building and maintaining the wired and wireless networks that power our client's global fulfillment centers, transportation hubs, and logistics operations.
This team plays a critical role in designing, deploying, and supporting the infrastructure that enables the physical operations relating to fulfillment to function at scale. Their work supports a wide range of technologies including robotics, industrial IoT, sensors, drones, and mobile devices, all of which are essential to our client's fulfillment and delivery capabilities.
As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, you will manage projects requiring building, deploying, and interacting with physical IT infrastructure. You will lead infrastructure deployment initiatives, problem-solve build issues with technical delivery teams, and support Lifecycle programs. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create efficiencies, manage scope, control IT budgets, and meet milestone deliverables with minimal schedule impact.
In this role, you will specifically be on the Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE) team, responsible for designing, standardizing, and sustaining the power, cooling, cabling, and compute infrastructure across the Fulfillment Network worldwide.

This team supports:
  • Power systems (UPSs, ATSs, PDUs)
  • Structured cabling and telecom rooms (MDFs, IDFs)
  • Mobility infrastructure (COWs)
  • Cooling and containment systems
  • Edge compute platforms
  • Automation and telemetry integration

Key job responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end execution of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop project roadmaps, schedules, and deliverables, balancing scope, resources, and risk.
  • Ensure alignment with infrastructure standards, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Partner with vendors, procurement, and logistics teams to coordinate materials, deployment, and support services.
  • Own all project reporting and executive updates, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into project status, risks, and impact.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, roadblocks, and constraints impacting program execution.
  • Support lifecycle and remediation projects, ensuring seamless transition from deployment to operational ownership.
  • eAct as the primary interface between engineering, operations, & tenured leadership, providing structured updates on program progress, challenges, and risk mitigation strategies.

Other Responsibilities:
  • Make suggestions for how to resolve problems.
  • Manage infrastructure technology programs, delivering builds that may require modification from defined templates
  • Plan and revise project timelines, milestones, and IT hardware requirements using standard PM tools
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of IT hardware and equipment standards to ensure appropriate procurement and delivery
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, partner teams, and engineering teams
  • Evaluate infrastructure build complexity and risk, arranging technical reviews when needed
  • Own program communications including milestones, risks, issues, and path to green
  • Work independently while coordinating with internal teams for necessary system access and permissions

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software)
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
  • Strong understanding of Main Distribution Frame product functionality
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to handle a high volume of small tasks.
  • Able to analyze data, understand what the numbers are saying, and make the correct suggestions based on the data.
  • A problem solver who can think strategically.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile or Lean Sigma certifications
  • Experience in infrastructure deployment programs
  • Track record of successful project delivery in technical environments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
