What You Will Be Doing
The Senior Data Engineer designs and builds data foundations and end-to-end solutions for the business to maximize value from data. The role helps create a data-driven culture within the organization-not just within IT teams, but across the broader business stakeholder community.
A Senior Data Engineer is expected to be a subject matter expert who designs and builds data solutions while mentoring junior engineers. They are key drivers in converting vision and data strategy into practical IT solutions and delivering results.
Daily Responsibilities
Technology expert who actively pursues continuous learning and shows curiosity to understand work from multiple dimensions.
Deep data focus with expertise across technology domains.
Skilled communicator capable of engaging both technical developers and business managers; respected and trusted by leaders and peers.
Actively supports the rollout and embedding of Data Foundation initiatives that enable key business programs.
Coordinates change management, incident management, and problem management processes.
Presents reports and findings to stakeholders and serves as the subject matter expert on Data Analysis and Design.
Drives implementation efficiency and effectiveness across pilots and future projects to minimize cost, increase speed, and maximize value delivery.
Contributes to community-building initiatives such as Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Communities of Practice (CoP).
