Summary

Title: Accountability & Boundaries

Location: Remote

The Scrum Master / Delivery Leader is responsible for execution within assigned teams and initiatives. The role works within the broader Portfolio and Release Train operating model and does not replace portfolio-level governance or Release Train leadership.

The role is accountable for:

  • Team and initiative-level delivery
  • Agile execution and delivery discipline
  • Impediment removal
  • Delivery health and flow
  • Team-level dependencies and risks
  • Execution against PI commitments
  • Accurate Jira delivery visibility
  • Escalation of issues requiring broader organizational alignment

Portfolio Management / Release Train leadership retains accountability for:

  • Portfolio-level prioritization and alignment
  • Integrated portfolio planning
  • Release Train and PI orchestration
  • Portfolio-level dependency and risk management
  • Cross-team and cross-initiative alignment
  • Portfolio flow and delivery visibility
  • Executive portfolio reporting and governance
