Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with extensive experience in the Property and Casualty (P C) Commercial Lines domain, specifically with a strong focus on Guidewire Policy Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance our insurance operations. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Guidewire Policy Center.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

Implement best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to P C insurance and Guidewire.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.

Contribute to project planning and estimation activities.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong expertise in P C Commercial Lines insurance processes.

Proficient in Guidewire Policy Center, including configuration and customization.

Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

Experience with programming languages such as Java, SQL, and XML.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other Guidewire products (Billing Center, Claim Center).

Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment strategies.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Experience in data migration and integration with third party systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on P C insurance.

Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
