Job Description
Our Software Integration Team drives software integration, troubleshooting, and debugging for the F-35 and ADP Skunkworks Mission Systems. We play a pivotal role in delivering software that's ready for the warfighter.
What You'll Do

- Aircraft flight software
- Simulated mission systems
- Laboratory setups that combine constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system-level models
Your core responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best-practice standards.
- Develop, integrate, and debug software across the above platforms, ensuring solutions meet mission-critical performance and safety requirements.
- Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implementing reliable, repeatable builds and fostering continuous-delivery culture.
- Architect and enhance virtual development labs and aircraft-software processes, driving scalability and usability.
- Design and implement automation tools using open-source, commercial, and in-house solutions, championing reusable frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, acting as the technical liaison with mission-system experts, simulation specialists, and stakeholder groups.
Who You Are
- A proven leader with deep domain expertise in mission-system software or high-fidelity simulation software.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in high-performing, multi-program environments and can inspire others to solve complex problems.
- An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, comfortable engaging with customers, senior stakeholders, and cross-organizational teams.
- Experienced in architectural decision-making, performance profiling, and setting integration standards for aerospace or defense software.
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-program team, demonstrate effective communication, and regularly interact with inter-organizational customers and partners. This Tech Lead role is critical to shaping the automation infrastructure, software integration strategy, and build processes that support multiple mission-critical programs.
