Summary

Job Title: NetApp Support Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • L2/L3 Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex software and performance issues within NetApp storage environments.
  • ONTAP Management: Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain NetApp Data ONTAP (Cluster-Mode).
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Handle break/fix scenarios, controller replacements, and disk shelf issues.
  • Client Collaboration: Coordinate directly with the US client team to ensure data availability and storage health.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
 
Mandatory Certifications:
Candidates must hold at least 3 of the following certifications upon hire, and be willing to pursue the remaining 2 after onboarding:
  • NCSE (NetApp Certified Support Engineer Professional)
  • NCSE‑OS (NetApp Certified Support Engineer, ONTAP Specialist)
  • NAHSE (NetApp Accredited Hardware Support Engineer)
 
Technical Skills:
  • Core Storage: 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetApp SAN/NAS storage arrays.
  • Protocols: Strong understanding of storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client interaction.
