Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, PMP-certified Project Manager with a strong background in managing and delivering projects for State Government, Federal Government, or County Government clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and project execution while ensuring compliance with government policies, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, department heads, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive updates.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, procurement processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct project meetings, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and project performance metrics.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
  • Active PMP certification from PMI is required.
  • 8+ years of project management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with at least one of the following government clients:
    • State Government
    • Federal Government
    • County Government
  • Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experience preparing project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive presentations.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
