Loc: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid_ 2 days onsite (Mon & Tue), 3 days remote weekly)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Details: We are seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager with strong experience working in Agile environments and a solid understanding of databases, basic SQL, and data schemas. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, projects are delivered on time, and data-driven solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for data-driven initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Manage project execution using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Partner with engineering, data, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Support teams working with databases and structured data, ensuring requirements align with existing data schemas.
• Use basic SQL to validate data, perform ad-hoc analysis, and support requirements verification.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, status updates, and project communications.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum experience as BA/PM 8 yrs. 
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM role.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Hands-on experience working with databases.
• Basic SQL proficiency (ability to write simple queries, joins, and filters).
• Understanding of data schemas, tables, and relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Financial applications experience.
• D365 F&O

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience supporting data platforms, analytics, or reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Experience in regulated or data-intensive industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or similar certification.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
