IT Systems Engineer
The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring system stability, conducting upgrades, and performing maintenance across organizational IT systems. This role also serves as a subject matter expert on IT infrastructure, networks, and applications, and acts as a senior-level support resource for complex or high-impact end-user needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Hands-on experience building and managing Intune environments from the ground up
Creating and maintaining:

• Device Compliance Policies
• Configuration Profiles
• Endpoint Security Policies
• Application Deployment Packages

Performs routine maintenance on IT systems, including patching, service restarts, and updates.
Monitors system stability and proactively responds to issues or outages, ensuring timely resolution.
Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex or high-impact service desk issues, collaborating with the Service Desk team to achieve resolution.
Participates in special projects related to IT compliance, audits, and security reviews.
Leads or supports the planning, design, and deployment of new applications and IT capabilities.
Continuously expands knowledge of emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry practices.
Serves as a subject matter expert for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, advising on IT needs, requirements, prioritization, and planning.
Maintains and executes disaster recovery and incident response plans.
Supports the design and maintenance of networking, power, and communication systems.
Develops and implements procedures to ensure a highly reliable IT environment.
Communicates clear and consistent status updates to users, stakeholders, and leadership.
Maintains accurate records, logs, and reports of support activities.
Adheres to established policies and procedures and supports organizational compliance initiatives.
Contributes to overall operations by performing additional duties as needed.
For monitoring, they current use Graylog and ManageEngine, as well as Ninja for managing endpoints.
Role has a lot of system admin duties, they have a senior system engineer that does planning and design - they want candidate to be familar with process so they can provide feedback as well.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Valley, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $62.50/hr.
