IT Project Manager, Cybersecurity
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex cybersecurity projects for a dynamic organization. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex IT projects through all phases, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking effectively.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while ensuring compliance with documentation and governance standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to align project objectives with business strategy and facilitate communication across teams.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and business analysts to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to the enhancement of project management methodologies and best practices.
Skills
- 8–15 years of professional experience, including 5–10 years in IT project management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale IT projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
- Strong understanding of IT development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, and Jira.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification for Agile environments.
- Experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.
