Desktop Support Analyst Indianapolis, IN 46278 (Onsite)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst / Desk Side Engineer to provide onsite technical support for desktop systems, applications, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on Smart Hands experience, and the ability to support VIP/Executive users in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
This role requires expertise in desktop/laptop support, IMACD activities, hardware troubleshooting, networking basics, and coordination with infrastructure teams including Networking, Server, and Telecom.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices (iPhone/iPad), and smart devices
- Perform break-fix support, troubleshooting, reimaging, and software installations
- Handle IMACD (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) activities
- Support Incident & Problem Management processes
- Provide Smart Hands support for Networking, Server, Storage & Firewall equipment (Rack & Stack)
- Support IDF/MDF closets, UPS, PDU, structured cabling & console access
- Assist Service Desk & Remote Support teams
- Provide executive/VIP support including Town Halls, Board Meetings, and MS Teams Room/Cisco/Avaya/Logitech setups
- Maintain asset inventory and spare parts tracking
- Work with vendors for hardware/software issue resolution
- Participate in after-hours On-Call support for P1/P2 incidents
Required Qualifications: - Strong experience in Desktop/Laptop hardware & software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing, Subnetting
- Basic Wireless LAN & Ethernet configuration troubleshooting
- Experience with ticketing systems and SLA management
- Hands-on experience with reimaging, data backup & restore
- Smart Hands support for Server/Network environments
- Experience supporting Executive & VIP users
- Good communication skills and customer-facing experience
Preferred Skills: - Experience supporting Cisco, Avaya, Logitech, MS Teams Rooms
- Exposure to Rack & Stack activities
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
