Summary
Job Title: SAP BDC Security Consultant.
Rate: $ 60-65
Location: Remote.
Required Skills & Experience
- SAP Security experience, with recent exposure to SAP BTP and/or SAP Business Data Cloud/Datasphere.
- Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts (roles, profiles, scoped roles, privileges).
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Cockpit, Identity Authentication Service (IAS), and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
- Familiarity with SAP Datasphere security model (spaces, data access controls, connections).
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) security and data-level permissions.
- Experience integrating cloud identity providers (Azure AD, Okta, etc.) via SAML/OAuth.
- Understanding of SAP GRC Access Control (SoD, risk analysis) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA security concepts, as BDC often pulls from S/4 data sources.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
