Summary
Title: Senior ServiceNow Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Project Manager to lead complex, multi-workstream implementations for our clients as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR)/ServiceNow partner. This role owns the full project lifecycle from statement of work through go-live and transition to support across ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, SecOps, or custom application implementations. You''ll work closely with solution architects, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong client relationships that support renewals and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow implementation and upgrade projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource management
· Serve as primary client-facing point of contact, managing expectations, communications, and executive-level status reporting
· Translate statements of work (SOWs) into detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocations
· Manage cross-functional delivery teams (architects, developers, business analysts, QA) in an agile or hybrid delivery methodology
· Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate appropriately to internal leadership and client sponsors
· Manage change requests, scope changes, and associated commercial impacts (change orders, budget amendments)
· Ensure adherence to ServiceNow implementation best practices and internal delivery methodology/governance standards
· Support pre-sales activities as needed, including SOW development, level-of-effort estimation, and delivery approach input
· Track project financials (budget vs. actuals, margin, utilization) and report on project health/status internally
· Facilitate steering committee meetings, project kickoffs, and post-implementation reviews
· Mentor junior project coordinators/PMs and contribute to maturing internal PMO processes
· Manage multiple concurrent projects (typically 2–4) across different clients and ServiceNow modules
Required Qualifications
· 7+ years of project management experience, with 4+ years specifically managing ServiceNow implementation projects
· Prior experience working for a ServiceNow Partner/VAR/consultancy (not solely internal/end-customer side) strongly preferred
· Proven track record delivering ServiceNow projects across at least two modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, SPM)
· Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, implementation methodology, and typical project phases (design, build, test, deploy, hypercare)
· Experience managing project financials — budgets, forecasts, margin, and change order processes
· PMP, CSM/PSM, or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification preferred
· Excellent client-facing communication and executive presentation skills
· Experience with PSA/PPM tools (e.g., Mavenlink/Kantata, Smartsheet, MS Project, OpenAir, or similar)
· Comfortable managing distributed, remote teams across multiple time zones
· Bachelor''s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) knowledge/certification
· Experience managing fixed-fee and T&M engagement models
· Background in IT consulting or systems integration environments
· Familiarity with ServiceNow''s Now Create/Impact framework and partner ecosystem
