Duration - 6 months+

Primary Objective

Provide senior-level technical cybersecurity expertise while supporting daily security operations and security-driven projects.

Core Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to security incidents (Tier 3 level)


• Perform threat analysis and deep-dive incident investigations


• Manage, maintain, and optimize security tooling


• Support and enhance security operations (SOC functions)


• Assist with vulnerability management lifecycle activities


• Contribute to security engineering initiatives and implementations


• Improve detection capabilities, monitoring coverage, and alert fidelity


• Participate in ongoing security projects and tool deployments


• Provide technical guidance and advisory support to business stakeholders

Required Background

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience


• Strong prior IT foundation, preferably in:

• Broad, cross-domain technology exposure (not narrowly specialized in one area)


• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Endpoint Security

• EDR/XDR platforms


• Endpoint detection, investigation, and response

SIEM & Monitoring

• Splunk or equivalent SIEM tools


• Log analysis and event correlation


• Security monitoring and alert triage

Cloud Security

• Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)


• Prisma Cloud (or similar)

Security Tools

• Netskope (or equivalent Secure Web Gateway)


• CyberArk (or similar PAM solution)


• Vulnerability Management tools


• Security monitoring platforms

General Infrastructure

• Windows & Linux administration


• Identity & Access Management (IAM)


• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)


• Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
