Job Description
We are seeking a BA / Product Owner to join our dynamic Mobile Team and replace an existing resource. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile product ownership, backlog and story management, and Agile ceremony facilitation and a proven ability to drive delivery planning, manage dependencies, and support hybrid Agile/Waterfall processes for mobile initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Author clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria, and lead backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Plan sprints by sizing work, managing team capacity, and tracking velocity and point totals.
- Identify, clarify, and manage cross-team dependencies and risks across Agile and Waterfall workstreams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Agile practices including backlog management, story writing, estimation, and metrics tracking.
- Ability to run ceremonies, drive planning, and lead grooming sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive process and alignment.
- Experience operating in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments and managing dependencies.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Mobile application development teams and delivery processes.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams across time zones.
Work Schedule & Location Details:
- Role based in Charlotte, NC. Work Eastern Time hours. Development team is in San Francisco.
- First 6 months onsite 4 days per week. After 6 months onsite 3 days per week.
- Target start date is 9/4, subject to onboarding timelines.
Compensation Note:
Bill rate guidance is $91/hr and will be confirmed once the requisition is released.
