Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7-10 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data modeling and data preparation for reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud data platforms, flat files) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as needed.
  • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver effective data visualization solutions.
  • Develop and implement data governance and quality standards for Tableau assets.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of data and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, industry trends, and data visualization best practices.
  • Document technical specifications, design documents, and user guides for Tableau solutions.
