Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, large-scale production search environments, Kubernetes, and Linux. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing search clusters, troubleshooting production environments, and automating operations using Python.

Responsibilities

Manage and support large-scale OpenSearch and Elasticsearch production environments.
Scale, split, tune, and troubleshoot search clusters.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using Kibana, Logstash, Grafana, Kafka, and logging tools.
Support containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.
Perform Linux command-line troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, and performance analysis.
Develop Python scripts for automation and search operations.
Identify and resolve production performance and reliability issues.
Support continuous improvement and automation of search infrastructure.

Required Skills

Strong OpenSearch / Elasticsearch experience.
Large-scale production search environment experience.
Search cluster management, scaling, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Kibana, Logstash, Grafana, and Kafka.
Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher.
Advanced Linux command-line skills.
Strong Python scripting experience.
Production support and troubleshooting experience.
