Warehouse Design & Optimization Engineer
Contract: 6 months with strong potential for extension

Help shape a more efficient warehouse from the inside out. We’re seeking a Warehouse Design & Optimization Engineer to develop layouts, improve material flow, and maximize space utilization. This role is ideal for someone who understands how warehouse departments work together and enjoys turning operational challenges into practical improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Design warehouse layouts that improve efficiency, capacity, and space utilization.

• Plan product flow and material handling systems to support smooth movement throughout the facility.

• Apply Lean principles to streamline processes and reduce operational bottlenecks.

• Coordinate receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping processes in alignment with Schneider Production System (SPS) principles.

• Analyze warehouse cost and service performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

• Lead warehouse design and process optimization projects, collaborating across departments to support effective implementation.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• At least 2 years of warehouse design or optimization experience.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and how layout decisions affect each department.

• Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.

• Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other database and analytics tools is a plus.
