The Role

As the Lead Network Engineer - Global & Cloud Networking, you'll be the architect and driving force behind Deckers Brands' global connectivity. You'll design, build, and optimize a world-class network infrastructure that powers our corporate offices, distribution centers, and retail locations across the globe. This is your opportunity to lead the charge in advancing our cloud and on-premises environments, setting the standard for secure, reliable, and innovative networking. Your Impact
  • Spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge network solutions that connect our global enterprise and enable seamless business operations.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for complex network and cloud connectivity challenges, ensuring our systems are secure, resilient, and future-ready.
  • Set global standards and best practices for network architecture, driving consistency and excellence across all locations and platforms.
  • Lead 24x7 network monitoring and rapid response, minimizing downtime and keeping our teams and customers connected around the world.
  • Mentor and inspire junior engineers, building a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to deliver innovative solutions that support Deckers' mission and values.
  • Optimize network performance and efficiency, leveraging the latest technologies to support our growth and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Deckers Brands' technology landscape, making a tangible impact on our people, customers, and communities.

Who You Are
  • 6-10 years of experience in network administration, with proven expertise in Cisco Meraki within a global enterprise
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and documenting complex system designs, consistent with corporate policies and procedures
  • Strong communicator, able to convey technical information across multiple levels and build trust and credibility
  • Calm under pressure, able to respond effectively to emergency situations and network outages
  • Experienced with Cisco networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Meraki switching and routing
  • Adept at training and mentoring junior engineers and technical support staff
  • Innovative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Excellent team building, project management, and organizational skills
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional - Enterprise and AWS Certified Advanced Networking

The salary range posted reflects the estimated minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in:
Goleta, California (Remote)
