Description
We are looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to support a growing financial services organization in Vancouver, Washington. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a creative individual who can deliver high-quality visual materials across digital, print, and presentation formats while maintaining a consistent brand presence. The role will contribute on a part-time, project-based basis and may also provide occasional photography and event-related design support.
Responsibilities:
Create visually engaging assets for social media channels that align with established brand standards and campaign goals.
Develop clear, effective presentation materials in PowerPoint to support internal and external business communications.
Produce a range of digital and printed marketing pieces, including branded collateral that reflects the organization's visual identity.
Apply style guides and brand requirements consistently across all creative deliverables to ensure a cohesive look and feel.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective design solutions for a variety of audiences and formats.
Assist with photography needs and provide creative support for events when project demands require it.
Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Primarily remote but may need to be on site at several events or meetings in the Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area
Contract Type and Duration: Contract only for now, a few trainings in June with more consistent coverage August through November (4 months)
Opportunity for Extension: Probably not
Schedule/Hours: 10-15 hours per week
Pay: $27-40/hour
Target Start Date: Week of June 8 for training
Software Requirements: Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
Requirements
Required:
At least 2 years of experience in graphic design or marketing design support spanning print, digital, and social media content.
Advanced skill in Canva, with the ability to create detail-focused, brand-aligned materials efficiently.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word for producing presentation and document-based design assets.
Demonstrated success in interpreting and adhering to brand guidelines, style guides, and visual standards.
Ability to manage part-time, project-driven assignments effectively while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Preferred:
Proficiency with core graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Background in services environments, particularly financial services, is preferred.
Experience with event photography or visual support in regulated or compliance-conscious settings is a plus.
