Location: New York, New York (Hybrid)
Role Overview
In this role, you will coordinate the end-to-end implementation of regulatory reporting mandates and lead the transition into sustainable post-production support. You will manage country rollout planning, stakeholder alignment, readiness governance, and issue resolution to ensure compliant, timely implementations and stable production operations across internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation planning for new mandates, including scope, milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and regulatory applicability assessments with country teams, tax, compliance, legal, and vendor partners.
- Manage assigned workstreams through intake, discovery, requirements, design, build coordination, testing support, and go-live readiness.
- Drive cross-functional decision-making on compliance needs, process impacts, operational changes, and technology dependencies.
- Maintain project-level RAID logs, open-item trackers, decision logs, and auditable implementation documentation.
- Establish and run the post-production support process, including issue intake, severity classification, and escalation paths.
- Assess reported production issues, determine business and regulatory impact, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Capture lessons learned, recurring issues, and root causes to improve future rollouts and production stability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in program/project management delivering complex, multi-workstream regulatory, tax, or enterprise technology change programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing fixed-date international regulatory reporting or compliance implementations across multiple countries.
- Hands-on experience with formal program governance tooling such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira/Confluence.
- Experience managing delivery through third-party advisory or systems integration partners and software vendors.
- Working knowledge of finance/tax systems landscapes.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent formal program management certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience standing up controls or compliance operating models from an early or immature state.
- Agile/Scrum delivery certification in addition to traditional program management credentials.
- Experience presenting to and managing escalations with senior stakeholders.
