Network Engineer

Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking a Network Engineer to join our growing team! In this Cisco and Windows based environment you will be responsible for planning, configuring, and installing equipment. Your experience with LAN and WAN networking will help you design routing, monitor traffic, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. This role will also be assisting with basic systems support as needed. This is a full time opportunity located onsite in Downers Grove, IL.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree or CCNA / CCNP strongly preferred
  • Proficiency analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving WAN/LAN, VPN and Wireless in a Cisco environment
  • 2-3 years of experience with Network Engineering and Administration
  • Troubleshooting experience to Layer 4 and knowing when to escalate
  • Experience with basic system level support as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

Compensation:

$65,000-$75,000 annually
