About the Role

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Analytics Director who operates at the intersection of business strategy, marketing intelligence, and modern data platforms.

This role is designed for someone who can engage confidently with senior business leaders (CMOs, Growth Leaders, CFOs) while also guiding engineering and analytics teams in building scalable data and marketing analytics solutions.

You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of marketing analytics initiatives that directly influence how the organization acquires customers, measures marketing performance, and drives business growth.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys translating complex business challenges into actionable data strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

Business & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as the primary analytics partner for Marketing leadership, translating business problems into structured analytical frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with CMO and marketing leadership to define data-driven strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and analytics roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain marketing analytics governance, including KPI definitions, data standards, and reporting frameworks.

Technology Strategy & Analytics Architecture

  • Define and drive the Marketing Analytics technology roadmap, including MarTech platforms, data architecture, and visualization tools.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, marketing attribution models, and customer analytics platforms.
  • Evaluate and guide adoption of tools across BI, CDP, data warehousing, and machine learning platforms.
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation, and ML-driven marketing insights.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, analytics engineers, and data scientists.
  • Build a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and business impact.
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and playbooks that scale analytics capabilities across the organization.

Program Delivery

  • Manage multiple analytics initiatives with clear project governance, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure analytics solutions deliver measurable marketing impact.
  • Continuously optimize data solutions based on business feedback and evolving marketing strategies.

 

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing analytics, or marketing technology roles.
  • 3+ years in leadership roles such as Director, Head, or Lead.
  • Proven experience leading analytics initiatives supporting Marketing organizations.
  • Strong experience working with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Background in consulting or client-facing environments is highly preferred.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (preferred).
  • Experience with BI & visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Understanding of ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering concepts.
  • Exposure to MarTech platforms such as CDPs, CRM systems, attribution platforms, or paid media APIs.
  • Working knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning applications in marketing.

 

Leadership & Communication

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights in a simple and compelling way.
  • Strong consultative mindset with the ability to influence business leaders.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
  • Passion for building and mentoring high-performing analytics teams.
