ITOM Solution Architect

About the Role

The ITOM Solution Architect will provide technical leadership to project consultants and customer system administrators, ensuring the successful implementation and management of IT Operations Management solutions.

Responsibilities

Data Clean-up

• Refine Technical Service Offerings and Dynamic CI Group support/change/managed by assignments
• Establish duplicate identification rules and remediation templates for priority CI classes
• Remediate Computer CI data flapping through IRE rule and naming standard adjustments
• Provide error handling reporting for data clean-up activities

Re-configuration

• Configure orphan and staleness rules for Principal CI Classes in scope
• Refine reconciliation and data refresh rules for Computer and Server classes
• Establish attribute precedence across authoritative data sources
• Enable MID server outage alerting and operational readiness documentation

Lifecycle & Data Governance

• Recommend solutions for CI onboarding and retirement across Principal Classes
• Configure data certification and attestation policies for priority CI classes
• Enable LeanIX integration to align Business Application retirement downstream

Catalog, Automation & Ownership

• Deliver catalog items for CMDB support and Service Instance requests
• Provide high-level documentation and knowledge transfer for custom pattern creation
• Provide high-level documentation for data error remediation processes
• Recommend location data cleanup approach for priority CI classes
• Establish Data Manager role and group framework for CI class owners

Qualifications

• Required: CSA, CTA, CMDB, CSDM

• Strong ITOM SA to provide technical leadership to the project consultants and customer system administrators.
