Role - Microsoft Fabric Architect

Role Summary
The Microsoft Fabric Lead will architect, lead, and deliver enterprise-scale analytics and AI-enabled data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft AI Foundry. This role owns the end-to-end data and AI platform strategy, including the creation of data agents, AI-powered insights, and autonomous analytics workflows integrated with governed enterprise data.
Key Responsibilities –
· Platform Architecture & Strategy Lead the design and implementation of enterprise analytics and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft AI Foundry. Define reference architectures combining Lakehouse, Warehouse, semantic models, and AI agents. Establish best practices for AI-ready data architecture leveraging OneLake and drive the Fabric + AI Foundry adoption roadmap.
· Data Engineering & Integration
· Design and oversee scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Fabric Data Pipelines, Spark/Notebooks, and Azure Data Factory. Ensure high-quality, AI-ready datasets that can be safely consumed by data agents and copilots.
· AI, Data Agents & Microsoft AI Foundry
· Design and develop data agents that reason over enterprise data, automate analytics workflows, and provide conversational insights. Integrate Fabric data assets with Microsoft AI Foundry using RAG and agent orchestration patterns while ensuring responsible AI and security compliance.
· Analytics & BI Enablement
· Lead Power BI semantic model design within Fabric, enabling governed self-service analytics and AI-driven insights within dashboards and reports.
· Governance, Security & Compliance
· Define governance standards for data and AI agents including lineage, sensitivity labeling, access control, and compliance with enterprise security and responsible AI policies.
· Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the technical authority for Fabric and AI solutions, mentor engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and translate business requirements into scalable data and AI solutions.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouses, Power BI, SQL, PySpark, Python, and integration with Microsoft AI Foundry. Proven experience in modern data architectures and leadership of enterprise data platforms.
