Summary
Job : Cisco Security Engineer
Location:Columbia, SC, USA
Responsible for migrating Cisco Secure Internet Gateway (Umbrella) policies to Cisco SSE suite, while maintaining support for existing security systems and ensuring enterprise security compliance.
Responsibilities:
Migration & Implementation
Migrate Cisco Umbrella SIG policies to Cisco Secure Access (SSE)
Convert existing rules into least-privilege policies
Deploy and replicate web filtering rules
Assist in deployment of Remote Access VPN and ZTNA access
Test and validate migrated security policies
Firewall & Security Administration
Deploy, administer, and support Cisco ASA & Cisco Secure Firewall
Configure IPSEC-based VPN solutions
Implement secure access policies
Monitor and analyze firewall/security rules
Collaboration & Support
Work with Security, IT, and business stakeholders
Provide documentation of existing and migrated policies
Train IT staff for ongoing administration
Required Skills:
3+ years converting rules into least-privilege policies
3+ years deploying/administering Cisco Secure Firewall (Remote Access & IPSEC VPN)
3+ years Cisco endpoint web filtering technologies (or Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
2+ years deploying ZTNA or SASE tools
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Cisco SSE & ZTNA architecture
Cisco SecureX, Secure Endpoint, Secure Client
Administering Cisco Secure Access & Cisco Umbrella
Cisco Remote Access VPN on ASA
Check Point firewall experience
Secure access design & implementation
Preferred Certifications:
CCNP Security
CCNP Routing & Switching
CCSP
