Apple's Biophotonics Group is seeking a scientist for analysis of clinical datasets. The candidate will join a team of innovative scientists and engineers to design, validate, and implement the next generation of bio-sensing technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with analysis and interpretation of multivariate and time-series datasets, optimizing data visualization for user-facing features in shipping products, and simulation of health-sensing data.

BS degree in mathematics, science, or an engineering discipline\nProgramming experience in MATLAB or Python for data analysis\nExperience with data visualization and development of figures of merit to optimize end-user experience\nExperience with maintaining code repositories (Git) and analysis in secure cloud-based environments

3+ years of industry experience \nMS or PhD degree in mathematics, science or an engineering discipline\nDemonstrated experience analyzing/interpreting wearable biomedical sensor data from humans\nExperience with noise modeling, principles of error propagation, and their impacts on time-series data\nInterest and ability to learn principles of Biophotonics instrumentation\nExperience with multivariate analysis techniques such as PCA and linear regression\nStrong teamwork and communication skills
