About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Financial Management modules.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Workday Finance, excellent problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations or support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead functional design sessions for Workday Financials, including assessment, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Configure and support modules such as Financial Accounting, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlement, Business Assets, Projects, and Expenses.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and migration plans.
Support integrations by working with technical teams to ensure correct data mapping and alignment with financial processes.
Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide post-implementation stabilization, troubleshooting, and production support.
Recommend process improvements and ensure alignment with Workday best practices.
Assist with Workday updates, new feature enablement, and release management activities.
Provide end-user training, knowledge transfer, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7 10+ years of functional experience in Workday Financials (depending on seniority).
Hands-on configuration experience in at least 2 3 Workday Finance modules.
Strong understanding of financial business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, banking, budgeting, accounting, assets, expenses).
Experience in Workday implementations, upgrades, or AMS support.
Ability to create detailed functional documents and work independently with business/technical teams.
Solid understanding of Workday security concepts, reporting, business process frameworks (BPF), and data conversion requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Financials Certification (Asset Management, Banking & Settlement, FDM, Expenses, Projects, etc.).
Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Adaptive Planning.
Exposure to integrations (EIB, Studio, PECI) is a plus.
Experience working in global, multi-entity environments.
