2005 Senior Integration Architect
Position Overview
The Senior Integration Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering enterprise integration solutions that connect business applications, cloud platforms, data sources, and third-party systems. This role provides architectural leadership for integration initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational technology strategies.
The successful candidate will establish integration standards, guide solution design efforts, and partner with technical and business stakeholders to implement modern cloud-based integration architectures. Strong experience with Azure Integration Services, API strategies, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise integration patterns is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and develop enterprise architecture solutions spanning cloud platforms, infrastructure, applications, and data environments.
- Convert business objectives and operational requirements into scalable technical designs and architecture roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, performance, compliance, and reliability standards.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, APIs, and external service integrations.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight throughout project delivery lifecycles.
- Facilitate architecture governance activities and contribute to enterprise integration standards and best practices.
Integration Architecture
- Design and implement modern integration solutions utilizing cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
- Develop scalable integration frameworks supporting both internal and external business systems.
- Create and optimize real-time and batch-oriented data integration processes.
- Define integration patterns supporting APIs, messaging, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Establish standards for integration lifecycle management, monitoring, versioning, testing, and deployment strategies.
Cloud & DevOps Collaboration
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to implement automated deployment and CI/CD processes.
- Support infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Contribute to cloud architecture strategies across Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Assist in aligning technical implementation efforts with broader enterprise technology objectives.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and delivery teams.
- Mentor technical teams on integration architecture, cloud technologies, and design best practices.
- Provide guidance on solution scalability, performance optimization, and architectural decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning and technology roadmap discussions.
Governance & Risk Management
- Conduct architectural assessments, performance reviews, and risk evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and applicable industry standards.
- Support continuous improvement efforts through technology evaluation and optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to governance frameworks supporting enterprise integration consistency and quality.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems design, software engineering, infrastructure architecture, or integration solutions.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering cloud-based integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading architecture initiatives and influencing integration strategy.
- 5+ years of experience working with Azure Integration Services and/or MuleSoft platforms.
Education
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree preferred.

- Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
