Overview
The Engineering Analyst supports the development and execution of data governance practices to ensure high-quality, trusted asset data across the organization. This role partners with engineering, operations, IT, and compliance teams to improve data standards, stewardship, and regulatory alignment within the pipeline and energy domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support data governance frameworks and best practices
  • Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Lead data quality initiatives for pipeline asset data (profiling, cleansing, remediation)
  • Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage documentation
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards (ISO, ISA, CFIHOS) and PHMSA regulations
  • Develop governance documentation, workflows, and SharePoint workspaces
  • Track and report on data governance metrics and effectiveness

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in data governance or data management (energy sector preferred)
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality concepts

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with pipeline asset systems, GIS, or records management platforms
  • SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power BI experience
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM)
